Wheels - another lost and found painting

from w
Here is another large painting that was lost and found. I had photographed many car wheels and then made a collage using the shapes. As - as we do these days - I messed about with variations using computer generated image manipulation. Well, at least I haven't got Photoshop yet so it's still in the simpler stages!

Always so interesting, Wendy. What "simple" program do you use? Though I doubt that they make any simple enough for me. Photoshop, I hear, is getting more complicated.

Hello Annie,
I use Picasa to crop the picture and make it smaller in size. Then I play around with Photo-edit (an earlier Microsoft program) and mainly use 'edge' and 'reverse colours' and then I sometimes overlap pictures to get that flatter 'art nouveau' sort of look. Photoshop is too expensive for me. A wonderful program I once used in a class was Corel Draw and it could give you all sorts of watery/other effects, but I never bought my own.
I'm still waiting for some photos from you on your own blog site!
Wendy
