Waterlilies
from wWhen I visited the University of the South Pacific in Suva the other day I saw a pond of waterlilies so made a drawing with pens and pencils. For other recent sketches go to the babasiga blog. Then today we were in Macdonalds to eat icecream so I drew the view from our table.

What, was Ronald McDonald getting a job interview??!?
Oh, yes, it does look like that? I just wonder what those silly statues are doing in those fast food outlets. The gimmick of course is an identifyer for kids who demand their parents stop and buy. In Suva a meal there is more expensive that most places but it's always popular...and it's air conditioned and the toilets are reliable! Some young people there were doing their assignments in comfort.
