There's a stand of pine trees near the entrance to the Geelong East Golf Course in Eastern Park, ten minutes walk from here. The picture was A3 in size so here it's divided into two - made with pen and crayon. I had to divide it because my scanner is only A4.

actually seeing the picture as two has a different feeling too. beautiful drawing, as usual.
Wendy - this is lovely. I like the way the picture becomes more and more colourful the nearer the bottom of the page. I like it split in two as well. However if you have Photoshop I have some instructions on how to scan and patch together pictures that are too large for the scanner.

I did this before the drought. This month the ground is grey-white - then it was a warm yellow-green. There is a cobweb effect of the top picture because of the way pine branches grow.
Re Photoshop - I don't have it as it's expensive. I only have Photoedit on a second computer. I've tried to download some imaging kind of programs that are free but they demand so much space I don't want to fill up my whole system. I have Picasa which does a few things.
I've just been to town and bought some non-toxic paints for my grand-daughter in Fiji who is now demanding paints for Christmas. They cost less than one tube of White Titanium!

I agree with YD and Julie. The split effect gives it a whole new impression. I'm impressed with the work in any case.
I love the way you have done the split log, it looks lovely and the moodiness of the whole piece.
